Matteo Jannicelli is a multi-talented artist, known not only for his
drawings, but also for his photography, sculpture, watercolor painting,
yarn painting and poetry. A Fine Arts graduate of Kean University,
Jannicelli is listed in "Who's Who in American Art" and "Who's Who is
U.S. Writers, Editors and Poets." He won the 2005 Dianne B. Bernhard
Award for Merit in the 62nd Annual Audubon Artists Exhibition at the
Salmagundi Club in New York City. He has won awards from the Ocean
County Artists Guild in photography, the Atlantic City Boardwalk
National Art Show in mixed media, first place award in Other Media at
the "Twin Lights East Coast Art Show" in Atlantic Highlands, and many
more. He has had solo exhibitions at the Papermill Playhouse in
Millburn, Bloomfield College, Caldwell College and has been in various
group shows. Jannicelli is a member of the prestigious group of artists
called "The Jersey 5" who have displayed their work in shows at the
Atlantic City Art Center, Ocean County College and the Anchor & Palette
Gallery. He has taught art classes at the Newark School of Fine &
Industrial Arts and at the Annex School of Art in Montclair.
