Personal statement: What I paint is a direct response
to what I see. For me, the appreciation comes first, immediately
followed by a zest and enthusiasm about the subject. Watercolor,
my medium, reacts with the spontaneity I find necessary to get my
first impression down on paper. The painting becomes a permanent
record of a fleeting moment.
Professional background: Early training at
Lyman Allyn Art Museum. Associate Degree at Principia
College. Further training and work at the Art Students

Tuileries of Paris, France.
Memberships and Exhibitions: NJ Water Color
Society, Garden State Watercolor Society, Princeton Art
Association, Ocean County Artists Guild, Monmouth County
Arts Council, Monmouth County Art Alliance, Federated Art
