Vincent J. Nardone is a professional plein air artist who loves to
work
on location, in watercolor, pastels, or acrylics, mixing the media,
adding found objects. He is experimental in his technique, and often
uses the palette knife to embellish with impasto from the paint
tube. He
may start with a simple shape, but he enhances with drips and dabs to
define and expand the image, shifting from deliberate representation to
a "spontaneous synthesis allowing the forms to unfold into one
statement
and become the hallmark of [his] composition."
Vincent Nardone is a member of the Audubon Artists, Inc, Manasquan
River Group of Artists, Guild of Creative Art, Allied Artists of
America
and more. He is listed in Who's Who in American Art, the NJ State
Council on the Arts, the Biographical Encyclopedia of American
Painters,
Sculptors & Engravers of the US, and more. His original artwork and
fine
giclée prints can be found at the Anchor & Palette Gallery.
