Stars for Auction Charity Rules

Silent Auction 1. All items have corresponding bid sheets with the artist's charity listed. 2. Minimum bid is $25 on each star. Minimum increments to raise bid is noted. 3. To enter a bid, write your name, telephone number and amount of bid. 4. Telephone bids will be accepted until the close of the Silent Auction at 12noon EST on 12/8/07. Only those callers who can get through to someone answering the phone will be able to bid by phone. No bids will be taken off of the answering machine. The Anchor & Palette will not return calls just for the purpose of updating the status of an item. 5. No bids will be taken over the internet. 6. The Silent Auction will close at 12noon EST on Saturday, December 8, 2007. General Rules 1. All sales are final and there will be no exchange or refund on any item. Everything will be sold "as is", no representation having been made as to the condition or quality of same. 2. All items must be paid for by December 15, 2007, or the next highest bidder will have the option to purchase the item. 3. All sales are subject to NJ sales tax. Sales tax and any shipping charges are over and above the final bid amount. 4. Payment for the item is not tax deductible. Donations of the proceeds will be made to the charity on behalf of the donors. 5. By purchase, the buyer waives any claims for liability against either the Anchor & Palette Gallery or the donors of the property, and neither the Anchor & Palette Gallery nor the donors are responsible for any personal injuries or damage to property that may result from utilization of property. 6. In the event of a dispute, the Anchor & Palette Gallery has sole and final discretion to determine the winning bidder. 7. The Anchor & Palette Gallery has the right to add or remove items from the Auction at any time.
